    price for reman km-145?

Is $820 a good price shipped from oregon?

A business called Transmission Exchange co has our trannies remand for $820. I didn't ask how much a rebuild kit would be but I'm sure they are a little less than the whole trans.

Is this a good deal though?

sounds like a deal to me. $280 with shipping, thats a no brainer.

I'll try to say this kindly, $820??? that is outrageous. You could put yourself thru transmission school and rebuild the transmission yourself after graduating the class and still have money left over for spring break. I bet a new trany from the dealer would be cheaper then $820. lol Well probably not the dealer. Still, that is way to much money for that work. grade "A" engines delivered to your home are cheaper. I think my point has gotten across.

I talked to these guys through their online tech, they are (supposed) to get back to me on shipping, core charge, return shipping, and whether or not this tranny comes with the t-case extension housing.

That's the problem with the internet, if you're being robbed in real life at least you expect to be pistol whipped and get to look at some mug shots.

Just had one rebuilt at http://www.midwesttrans.com/ they did it in 3 days for $640 with tax out the door (I dropped off and picked it up). Looked like they put a new input shaft on it too. Send them an email for a ballpark price. The place is 30 miles north of Rochester MN.
