Eclipse steering wheels

I figure I'd make a thread on this to help anyone who ever tries this. I was at the junkyard and snagged a early gen eclipse (square body) steering wheel and a later model (the fast and furious style with turbo that everyone likes). Both of them will fit. The early gen is direct bolt on and horn will work just need to trim the column cover to make it fit. The later model will fit without mods just won't have a horn since it used a spiral cable. I'm using the first gen since it's lighter, works easier, has the mitsu emblem like my old one and seems to steer better with this skinnier lighter wheel. Plus it looks sportier.

Will those steering wheels bolt right into a 84 power ram? Or just mighty max?

I havent taken my 84 power ram's steering column apart yet but i could assume their spline shaft are the same

they will work - all mitsu's and ram 50s are the same spline into the 90's - conquest steering wheels work also
