    Question Fittings and thread standards?

Can anyone confirm the holes in our engines are BSPT/ JIS? I want to mount some gauges. and I KNOW it is not U.S. NPT... but I do not have BSP taps (yet)to confirm what I think is the answer. Thanks!! Grumppa

Thanks for the info, all. I guess I will have to go face-to-face with my NAPA guy 'cause looking on-line I could not come up with any adapter kits. This Guy is good though; if NAPA has it, he knows it! Works out OK... they are having a battery sale right now and I think my bike battery is getting tired. Thanks, again!!

Edit: September 2013. BSPT; British Standard Pipe Thread. Different number of threads from US pipe thread AND the thread pitch and angle are both different. Per Pennyman1; NAPA has the adapters... supposedly $20 for a set of two, but when mine came in there was only one in the package. Brass.
