The oil pressure switch only needs 5 psi to switch, so if you are dropping below that at a stop, you got problems. Also make sure the oil pressire switch has a large hole in it so it doesn't clog from an errant piece of sludge. Use a switch like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/310333238965...t_12655wt_1327
