    weber help....

just installed a weber 32/36 on my 2.6 runs great, no problems other then i cant figure out how to set the fast idle. instructions with the carb says to do it when the motor is cold, press the throttle pedal to the floor once an let it off, then start it. it sez it should idle around 2200 rpm on the idle cam. mine will barely idle. i have tried adjusting the fast idle screw an nothing. what am i missing here or doing wrong?

On the side of the carb where the +12 volts go, that it the choke spring. loosen the 3 screws and rotate the amber piece - the choke plate will close, and the cam the fast idle screw rides on will move up and speed up the motor. My weber was set so the choke wouldn.t arm , let alone fast idle until I made the adjustment.
