    New from Maryland

Hello from Maryland! I just picked up an '86 Ram 50 with the 2.0L. I've already found some useful info on this site and look forward to asking a few of my own questions.

My truck had been sitting for a few years so right off the bat I drained the gas, replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, and your typical maintenance parts (air filter, oil & filter, plugs, wires, distributor cap/roter).

Welcome to the site - I have Geronimo, an 1980 D-50 and my 86 project truck, also a 2.0 and 5 spd. When you get the chance, post up some pics - don't worry about how it looks.

hahaha I didn't think anyone would catch that... yeah that mikuni carb is such a POS I was forced to convert to electric!

No no, I've got it on a battery tender because I was having a hard time getting it started and was cranking the engine quite a bit. It's running now but like crap.
