My dad had its twin only automatic - He gave it to me as a graduation gift and I paid too much for it. It started to fall apart after he had all but beat it to death, then tried to drown it - twice. The second time was after I revived it from the first attempt and mistakenly loaned it to him to move something. Rust reared its ugly head, and a simple gas tank replacement ended up being new gas lines, new brake lines, 2 wheel cylinders, and then the master cylinder went out by leaking where the seals for the resivior went into the master and none could be found anywhere at the time. I sold the truck off to some young kid and his mom - 2 months later, not 1 panel was straight, most of the lights were broken, new tires were burnt bald, and it was left for dead on the side of the road. Last I knew, his older mechanic brother rescued it and was driving it daily. Air worked in mine too. Welcome to the forum!
