Picking up my 89 Power Ram 50 tomorrow
I have been building cars and trucks for 15 years of so now and will be picking up my first Ram 50 tomorrow. Ive had chryslers all my life and had an 88 Wagon with the Mitsubishi motor in it before. My question is what gas mileage to expect. Ive read numbers from 14 to 26 they seem to be all over the place.
Here's what I'm getting
1989 Dodge Power Ram 50
2.6L Auto 4x4
40K original miles
Any idea on MPG?
Thanks,
Bob

As there are so many variables possible I will just have to take a shot in the dark.
Low 20's is probably average. Depending on maintenance and wear.
My 86 2.6l Manual has seen a high of 38, a low of 12, but sits low 20's most of the time.

Thanks. I appreciate it. I know there are lots of variables. Tire size, wear, maintenance, going downhill with the wind behind you. I am relacing my 81 Dodge D150 slant six manual with this truck as my daily driver. And MPG is the main factor.
