My Montero and his new shoes
Well, I finally got Monty running! Went for inspection and it failed due to tires, so I had to go get him a new pair of shoes. I'll post up new pic of him wearing them when I get them on him.

Have not driven it anymore yet. I had work truck this weekend. But my exhaust is so loud I probably won't be able to tell

well, got about 3500 miles on it and bottom end crapped out on me about 3 weeks ago. still got the blue on the tires. I imagine that rod bearings suffered from waterleak is all i can imagine. #$#*@), F*@)#, D*@##$. Gonna have to do the whole engine.

Failed an inspection because of tires? 
? is this a new California smog check thing? or was this another kind of inspection?

North Carolina safety inspection . I guess it is a good thing if you are the one getting saved from the bad ones, bad thing if you are the one having to buy tires.
