    unlevel ride height

    Hello,
I have an unlevel ride height.

I just redid all the suspension.

New polyurethane bushings and shocks in the back.

Front ball joints , tie rods shocks etc.

Torsion bars were put in with the indexing marks lined up.

My truck sags 3/4 inch lower on the driver side.

I adjusted the torsion bar bolt on the passenger side to level it out but now the bolt threads are showing 1/4 inch less but it is still not level.

    Rear is the same.

Are my springs shot on the driver side?

Or did I screw something up putting back in the lower control arms?

    Any help would be great.

    Shake.

The question you should ask your self is.
Did it sit this way before you fixed everything, but all the parts were so worn out you couldn't tell?

The drivers side take the most abuse. There is you and a battery on that side. If you crank them around so it sits close to level, will it get there? The difference on the threads is not important. Thats why there adjustable so over time you can correct for sag.

    Thanks guys..

I see what you are saying,,,Common sense escapes me once in awhile.

I also forgot i redid the exhaust and lightened it up by alteast 40lbs with my hooker header.

Do you think it would be a good idea to just reidex the the driver side 1 spline to make the keys a little closer to the same.

    thanks again,
    Andy

It's totally up to your preference on that one. If it fixes the problem and does not run out of adjustment then I'm game.
