    ok I didn't know about those links. I don't mind a few bucks for a used but 200+ is crazy for a thousand dollar truck. if not ill just glue and engineer something.

    If it's just the arm, I believe its held in place by a small set screw at the base, so you don't need the whole unit. They are usually pretty easy to find in salvage yards.

    that's what i was wanting to hear but i can't find the part. Do you have to remove anything from the column?

    A thousand dollar truck?? Mine was that way once. Now I'm into it 53+ times or more. But it was worth every penny I spent. It has kept me in the garage for 3 years. The wife and I have never been happier..

    Just looked on car-part.com and you can get the whole steering column for $50
