thats way to much stuff to work for any length of time on the road - in the 'burgh, one pothole or dip in the road would turn that setup into scrapmetal.

It's rather clever. It allows for IRS but it's not very tall to allow for a somewhat realistic looking bed. About the best way to do it now that I think about it.

The really slick thing about it is that it's adjustable by the bags. And it also has the travel of the springs for bumps. So you don't get that real bouncy ride.

Nice way to destroy a rare truck. I almost want to buy it to put it out of its misery.

Rat rods can look cool when it's well thought out, the owner has some fab skills and he has a good eye for design. But they look like complete dogshit when it's just a bunch of oddball look-at-me parts slapped together. Trying to force an 80s truck to look like something it's not. Another one bites the dust...
I'd buy it for the engine but I'm sure this guy has beaten the tar out of the poor thing.

thats so not right - he cut up a d-50 and made a turd out of it - not even close to a 30s truck. It would have made more sense to get a 33-34 dodge or plymouth fiberglass body kit and put it on a frame instead of that abortion.
