"New shocks went on tonight. Summit sport truck shocks for the front. And Pro Comp Toxic shocks for the back. The summit sport truck shocks ended up being a doetsch tech nitro drop shock with a generic part number. The quality of these is great, they look very well built, but the bottom bushing was far to big to fit into my shock mount. They required a bit of modification but other than that they went right in."

What the bay used to look like

The interior is going to be swapped out for 97-98 rodeo interior such as this

the caddy wheels are 17x7.5 here you can see just how much room I have to play with the amigo fenders

    Hows that for steering angle

if you haven't seen an isuzu pup already with the full amigo conversion, here's what one looks like. This is the right way to do it, most people only put the front fenders on. Also, for some ingenious reason, isuzu decided to make a wider bumper to match the amigo fenders width, but left all their valances the same width. So even on the stock amigo the valance ends about 1.5-2 in before the edge of the bumper, you can see this in the pics below. I couldn't deal with it so we decided to split my stock valance in the middle and add about a 3in section to make up for the extra width.

"Grimace got me a tire for an 18 I'd had for a good while today. Test fit tomorrow. Might switch to these i'm not sure yet. They look really good, but I know they wont be wide enough"

I like what you're doing. Are you going to use a panel flanger to run around the stock truck bed so the new fenderwells nest to contour properly?

I used to have a red 88....I miss that truck. I sold it to a friend who got t-boned and still drove it to over 200,000 miles. I told him i wanted it back when he had blown it up. I guess he sold it for parts to someone else.

Good lookin truck man. You get the rear fender flares welded on yet? You gonna weld or just panel-bond? I was thinking that I could get the 4x4 fenders from a max to get the wider wheels to tuck under my truck but I guess on mitsu trucks they are just plastic panels that stick out and dont really widen anything.

not sure how i'm going to finish off the quarter panels yet. I like the bare bones rivet look for it but I would have to tie it into the rest of the truck. The bottom body line wont line up unless I change the whole thing due to the amigo being a shorter truck the bottom body line runs at a sharper angle than mine. I'll get it figured out eventually. I just work on it every once in a while when im bored. That bronze block you see in the background behind the pallet its my 2.6L. The motor that the turbo is going on/

possibly, I've been looking for one of those for a while ever since calmini stopped making them. Although i'm going turbo it might be worth it to grab it. How much you want for it?

it is! but it looks cool sitting in my driveway I've been looking at diamond steelies as an option. That way I can get whatever size and offset I want. Only thing is, The wheels will need to be so big if I do go steelies they are going to be really really heavy
