87 Raider, Idles perfect but runs rough while driving...

PERFECT idle, sometimes...runs kind rough while driving at a steady speed. Not sure if its burping or what...Have put sea foam in carb to clean and carb cleaner, still runs the same. Someone told me about a vac hose that goes to the charcoal can to plug it and see if it runs differ...any help or advice is welcome and appreciated!

Sounds like the EGR is not working correctly. If it sticks open it will idle rough. You might want to clean it out or replace it.

There might be a reset button for the light like the second gens have. But IDK where it might be on the Raider. Other then the EGR replace the fuel filter.

you can try pulling the battery ground. On the mighty max it was up in the dash. near the center. It was a tiny switch. search the site for "reset"
