    Back brake lights dont work

    So i have a 88 mit. Mighty max 2.0 5 speed.

My back brake lights stop working.
Maybe because i spilled water all over odometer.

Brake light turns on wen i brake
    Signals work

    Tail fuse not popped
    And fusible links are okay

So? Its a relay or switch gone bad

    Dont know which one

    Easy to fix?

Hi and welcome to mightyram. Do you have parking lights/dash lights? These are on a different circuit than the brake lights. Sometimes it's not 100% obvious that a fuse has blown. Try swapping fuses around if you don't have a test light or a multimeter. There is a main relay that runs the lighting circuit (if you turn the parking lights on and off you should be able to hear the relay trip if the fuse is intact). It is possible but very much unlikely that the park/headlight switch has burnt out (the fuse would blow long before the switch could burn out). So you'll need to test (in this order) the -

    - fuse
    - switch
    - relay
