    Spindle lock nut wrench?

The damn spindle nut is keyed and I can't find the right wrench to pull it. Anyone have a PN for one, or some variety of work-around?

Seriously screwed at the moment, can't get the IFS apart to replace things.

Did you wipe away the greese from the lock nut?

No, pulled the cap so I could figure out how big around the hub was. Didn't want to pull crap out because I have to drive it to work tomorrow night.

I have a large impact socket that will fit in, I might be able to grind it to make a tool. Would take forever, though.

Other than a good pic of the spindle nut, not really unfortunately. Same stuff in the Haynes manual.

Here's probably a better pic than I can take showing the nut:

hammer and a punch. Under that jam nut is a locking ring with bolts in it. Otherwise it's either a 2 or 4 prong tool they use. It won't be that tight. 40 Ft.Lb or so. 3 smacks and she will turn free. If what I'm seeing is correct for your truck. The locking hub comes off as an assemble with the removal of 1 cir-clip and spacer.

does any one know where to buy the spacer (washer) for the Auto Hub
Its the small washer that goes on before the circle clamp on final assembly.

    Shake.
