RAM 50 Motor swap question

Hello all! Newbie here and I have a question. I just purchased a 1989 Ram 50 with a spun crank. Motor is a G54B type K03. What motor could i replace this with that will bolt to the original bell housing or what motor/trans would be the easiest to do a full swap. Thanks!

If you have a wide block engine, and you should seeing you have an 89 there are several ways you can go. You can start by looking in the Wiki and getting an idea of what you have. And what will fit. http://www.mightyram50.net/vbulletin...e+and+markings

Once you have an idea of just what you have, because lord knows we have see all kinds of things stuck in there, we can work forward. But the big factor is going to be just how much money you want to spend. If I was you, I would drop in the same engine with some upgrades to it. If done correctly you will get more HP and torque with out ripping up other parts and spending a boat load of money on it.
