I have my grandfather's old farm truck and im trying to get it running for my 14yo cousin to have as his first truck. It was running fine as far as i know when they got it from my grandpa. My uncle said he was driving it and it started blowing a bunch of white smoke, so he parked it and now, im fixing it. i drove it about 4 miles home from my work where i unloaded it and it had zero power, but ran, most of the way... about 3 miles into the drive, it started smoking profusely, then quit, then smoked and died and wouldn't restart. im not illiterate when it come to cars at all, i just haven't worked on one of these mitsubishi's yet. Initially, I'm thinking it's the head gasket, but like i said, ive never been into one of these trucks so I'm just looking for advice on what to look for, any tell-tale signs common with these trucks, tips on making repairs easier, etc. Any advice will be greatly appriciated.
