    Transmission problems

Since I know nothing about these trannies I don't even want to start asking for things that could be wrong. All I'm going to ask is if a mazda tranny will fit in these trucks? Will they mount up to the block? I can make new mounts for it just need a new tranny and can't find one anywhere

Nope, unless you have a 2.6 and you find one of the mazda b2600 that came with the mitsu g54b 2.6

What about the 2600i with the 2.6? Or what other transmissions would work?

it has to be the mazda 2600 4wd 87 and 88 only - with that bellhousing a rx7 tranny will work. There are bellhousings available from several people on hotrodcoffeeshop.com to mate different trannies to the narrow bolt pattern 4g63/g63b.
