If Gov Corbett has his way - we will be CA east on emissions.

If you fancy the drive there is a shop in Escondido that specializes in import parts, they are called Rising Sun Import Parts. I go there for all the hard to get parts for my truck.

Hi all; This has been a busy thread, and I am a little behind the power curve... BUT I changed my carb out last year and went through a place in Jacksonville Florida: National Carburetors. Rebuilt in exchange for my old one... $281.90 total. Pennsylvania is touchy; I could not put the Weber on because the brain box would be out of circuit (86 RAM). Nice people and fast shippers... usually have one in stock. No (800) number but they are on-line: Nationalcarburetors.com. New carb is working fine. Cheers, Grumppa

You need to find a different inspection / emissions place if they told you that. The only reason they should look is if the truck fails emissions. There is a new law for emissions - 85 and older no longer need emissions, with pre 96 in the works. PA found out that pre 96 cars are not worth the cost to run emissions, and they are usually collector cars that see little road time.
