what's up form East Coast mini lover!
Hello all, name is John and I just picked up a 1980 d-50. Its primered, has a hard top and rag frame convertable top, body kit,Grant wheel, broadway mirrror, bed liner, air shock dump bed and some old school 15" sawblade wheels lol. Bought this think as a project for me and my 14yo son to build up to him driving in two years and as new project for me so I will stop molesting my poor xB.
It is an auto trans and when it runs ,runs great and sounds great.....but the carb is JUNK!. Will be needing help from some of you og's,need some parts too.. Thanx for having me!

if its a ragtime mint convertible, I have 3 nos ragtops for it. as for the carb, check out the threads about installing a weber carb - its what will solve the running issues with the stock carb.

Thank you guys for the welcomes, tying to get the notifications worked out here. The truck has a hard top convertable and a soft top frame that I dont really know how it goes on, but interested in seeing it covered. I did a google search for d50 forum and found this as well as a not as friendly/active other forum. The truck is dead in my driveway now, killing me but I knew I what I was buying. I just started a build thread with a few pics. http://www.mightyram50.net/vbulletin...ner-1980-build
