4g64 trans

I just made a prospecting trip to a boneyard I usually don't visit, and found a 94 Max 2wd with a good trans. 170k on the clock. looks clean, shifter felt tight and good going into all gears. I can get it for $100. Here's my question-4g64 engine is a wideblock in the 2wd pickups, right? I have a chart from years ago I saved that indicates this. Just want to make certain before I pull it. Thanks

Yes it is a wide block. If you want to make sure measure the distance between the two lower bell housing bolts and it should be 13.5" I believe.
