Yes you can more than likely do a simple TBI swap from a chevy V6, I found a thread on Pirate4x4 where a guy converted his 22R to a TBI 22r, although I am going to convert my carbed Toyota to EFI I am going to use the EFI off of a 1988 4runner, anyway, that wont help you but here is a link to the forum and just scroll down until you find it, I have both a 2.6l Ram 50 and a 2.4l 22R Toyota, and there are alot of similarities between the two (Besides the intake and exhaust manifolds are on different sides) or I would put my 22R into my now blown up D-50
