mystery brake booster line?

Have this "T" fitting plummed into my brake booster hose the small line running off just has a screw jammed into it to plug it. I've looked in the general area to see ifit had a home and can''t find anything. The vac line sticker under the hood and looking through the chiltons manual I don't see anything it could go to. is this another previous owner mystery job??

I would remove the current hose and put a new one piece hose in its place.

yeah I just pulled the T and there was enough slack left in the hose to make it to the nipple.

Between this and the mystery harness in the same area I almost wonder if it wasn't for a aftermarket cruise control setup at some point. who knows?? Always fun trying to unf*ck someones elses handywork.

Could have been, but you should never cut the vacuum line to the booster for anything.
