    1987 Dodge Ram 50 2.0 Just Died

I was driving the other day and the truck just died as I was accelerating. I got it towed home and started looking into it. I assumed it was a fuel pump because when I pulled the inlet hose off of the weber carb it had no fuel flowing when trying to start. Today we tried pouring fuel and even starting fluid directly into the carb and it still won't start. Any help appreciated!

I tend to take the coil wire off the distributor, ground it across the body/frame and turn the key over and check for sparks. If no sparks, might be coil.

also,on a 87 we had a few years ago,the fusible link went out but that killed alot of the eletronics.
if you have the ballist resistor on the driver side wheel well, ours went and and wouldn't start
