    NEED WIRING HELP! coil/balist

I am trying to check my wires in my 84 ram 50 with the 2.6L with the stock coil and balist. I need someone to post a picture of what wires go to what from the battery, to the coil, the distributor to the coil and the balist, and so on. Basically what I am trying to ask is who has a stock ignition set up that wants to show me the color of the wires go where. Thanks guys.

Have you looked in the manual section? I know there is electrical in the first gen manual and some other ones.

Are you trying to re-wire the engine compartment? Sounds like your harness was hacked up??

On the factory manual that Camoit has posted on the site under "wiring diagram" it lists a single white wire to the negative and a double black with white stripe to the positive.

The resistor goes to the positive side of the coil.
