ROAD BLOCK FROM H@*L. Please help.

Alright, the old Ram 50, 2.6l, 4x4 has been competely stripped down to the block, oil pan, crank, and pistons. And now, with the new evidence of bad pistons, I am stuck trying to get the engine out.

First off, tranny. Should it come out with the engine, or seperate and engine only.

Second, I have no idea how to get the damn thing out! No trees, on gravel, and livin in he boonys. Any ideas?

Leave the trans there. Get a rental engine hoist. Then push the truck backward to remove the engine from the engine bay. Get some plywood for install later on of find concrete.

Or buy a hobo freight puller.
