1988 4x4 brakeline sizes, Any one know?

    Hi All,

I have a 1988 4x4 and it has a rusted brake line near the fuel filler piper area...
I went to the automotive parts store and I was surprised that they had pre-made
brake lines with the nuts and stuff on them.. they are straight and long and you just need
to add your own bends to make them fit the frame...

I don't know what diameter size to get nor do I know how long it needs to be.
    Any thoughts?

Should I just get the line that you make your self and call it a day since i can make them the length I need with
out having to couple lines together?

    Thanks in advance all!

get a roll of the copper nickel 3/16 brake line and metric brake fittings, and you will be set. The copper nickel line is easy to bend and flare.

I had to make that S brake line on the caliper that was "fun" took a few tries but it's been working for a few years now, don't forget a brake line needs a double flair on it~
