the infamous rough idle question!!

is there a way to adjust the choke? I know i have a throttle postion screw, a idle adj screw, and my air/fuel screw. adjusting those is about all i can do on a carb!... lol... when i rebuilt my engine, we took it off, and my buddy started stripping it down, cause he KNEW what he was doing, but i quickly learned he did not, when he we turning it around in his hand half taken apart, and had the what the hell is this look on his face.

**UPDATE**
I might have fixed this issue.... somehow my fuel/air mixture screw had vibrated all the way loose, and was just kinda sitting there, not sure how it didnt fall out! So i put it back in readjusted it, idle, distributor timing, runs stable.... for now.
