Nice truck, and welcome to the site.
Well it will depend on how deep your pockets are and what cheep is to you. That is some ambushes projects you are talking about.
A body drop is no small under taking. See the post "And they said a girl can't do that" I would steer toward some drop spindles and blocks for the rear. 2" will make for a nice clean look, and the cost wont kill you or destroy the truck.
My version of cheep is under $10,000. Expensive is 65+.
If you try a body droop you need some major tools, starting with a welder, the skills of a surgeon and money. Feel free to ask any member in the site for more information on there projects. They will help you avoid the screw ups they went through in the past. We all have the same belief. Knowledge is power, and it is free to the ones that will listen.
Be sure to check out our on-line radio station at the top of the page in the header.

OH and yes we all have torn our trucks up in the past. But after 25+ years of mechanics and age you come to look at what you did in the past as a BIG mistake, and ask yourself What The F was I thinking when I did that.. Some of the guys on here have trucks that they have dumped an easy 45K into but it took years to get them done. You can't miss them.

If it has a timing belt on it, change them now.... Don't let it change it's self. They don't do a good job at it, Trust me on this one.

Welcome to the site! Sure is a clean pretty truck (I'm a sucker for black).

What engine does it have, and what do you want to swap it for? There are some great shade-tree (and even pro) mechanics here. Somebody can help out.

Check out Scarlett D50 in the First Gen build threads. That truck was lowered by minimal means and looks HOT. Body drop and tucking require some serious fabrication/suspension work.

Blocks and lowered springs. cut springs make for the BOUNCY ride.

Cut coils are not that bad if you have drop shocks, I've had both drop coil and cut coils and hardly can tell the difference between the two and my cut coils have more of a drop then the drop coils did.

But I'd def recommend changing the balance shaft and timing belts as camoit suggested.
