86 Pickup Hunting/Rally

Got a deal a couple years back on this truck and after seeing an old subraru brat on the track making chumps of everyone I have decided to get old blue out of the bone yard and give it purpose once again. So follow bloggers here is your chance. I would like to upgrade the suspenion and provide more travel. I am not worried about body clearance with all the rust this guy has accumulated over the years a hammer and saw will make short work. Any ideas to make the guy ride on a cloud in while driving the running gear off this old goat?

Engine is locked up and needs to be torn apart to find the problem which (suspect silince chain) is incentive to rebuild and do some improvements alone the way. Any ideas on upgrades that you would do that are worth the money. porting polishing, cams, exhaust, carb intake?? N/A G54B
