There are lots of non turbo 2g heads out there, will that make good power on a 6 bolt 4g64 block or should I hold out for a turbo head? My plan is to do turbo this engine and put it one of my 1st gen.

you're in the wrong place, check in on the eclipse forums....but as far as I know there isn't a difference? other than non-turbo eclipses have a 420A motor...totally different.
Check out Project Zero G and Hot Rod Coffee Shop when you do the head swap, then sell me your diesel when you're done. :)
The diesel is my other truck. Its not really for sale but as with anything, it could befor the right price.
I want to remove the g54b from my my other 86, that will be for sale for sure one of these days. Im not removing it just yet in case I need to move it to the other side of the garage or something.
The only difference betwwen the turbo and non turbo 4G63 heads is the cam shafts. The Non turbo motors had a much less aggressive cam profile. As for a non turbo 4G63 2G there is no such thing, the n/a 2G used a Chrysler engine. 420A as stated by Mike^.
There is much debate whether or not the 2G or 1G, 4G63 cylinder head design is better. (smaller intake ports vs. larger) But we wont get into that....
Thanks for the comments. I picked up a 1g turbo head the other day at the yard with intake and cam sensor for 200
