Welcome back man. I remember that build. Didn't you have a different user name?
How goes the fight? You should be nearly done.
You can go through the old thread and highlight the sections and pictures you want, then right click it then select copy. Come over to the new site right click, paste. You can move a crap load of information this way. I was moving about 6 posts at a time with out a problem.
Yes I was operating under a different name.
Awesome though I will have to do that!
soooo why not stick with the old name?
i really wish i had the time to completely take mine down like you did..ive been 4 years with out a bagged truck on the road, and I HAVE TO this spring...im gonna do only winter projects...nice build, i read it on the old page....
Sweet, can't wait to see some updates on this truck!
couple pics of the truck,
have been doing some random detailing work, stripped interior back out, edge trimmed the sheetmetal bed, re done the pedals and other random things
took a trip a litte further south for some color! stay tuned!
Sweet can't wait to see it painted. Is your truck a long bed too?
Thanks
Yes it is
Paint!
F#@kin badass man, love the paint from what i see
so how did you do the black?
Most likely all the graphics are air brushed
Such a badass truck man, im in love ive always liked those billets. I forsee a Minitruckin feature for your truck
I'm telling you,,, we have allot of real talented guys on this board. This is just one example.
Wait, I just noticed somthing, is that Right Hand Drive? how did you get your hands on that? Awesome truck by the way, I like the way the front bumper looks.
looking good bro!
Oh, I should have looked there first, thanks Camiot
thanks everyone! its on its down hill run now!
cleaned the rear back up!
Are you going to put a polished aluminum diamond plate cover over the hole?
So where is the shotgun mount:)
lol i just keep my shotgun mounted in my safe in my game room hahahah
What no gun rack??? No built in ammunition storage either?? I thought you would at least wound them, then park over them and squish-em Flatt.,,, And I had such high hopes for this build... Now you just ruined my hole day.....
another
Wow this thing is sic!!Nice truck Im diggin the long bed.
looks great man...gladbto see this thing come together...im from va and been following this truck for years....i got a 95 reg cab...bag n body..
Great looking truck man! Looks like you really took your time to get it right! Way to represent our clan.
Thanks everyone. Have been steadily messing but am goin to refrain from pictures till layd out at the park haha see you all soon!
Well where are the new picts. We are all dying to see them, and put this bad boy on the front page......
here are some photos from the show, have changed some of the interior already tho will post new pics up of it in a couple weeks, sorry for the delayed response!
Love your truck, one of my favorites so far along with the baby blue one right next to your s. I like the rhd and interior, looks sweet. I have toyed with the idea of doing rhd many times in my head, maybe later on when i bd it.
Id like to see how you ran the wires to the door poppers. My truck has no wires going from the cab to the door like most cars do so there isnt a flexible rubber boot to run the wires through.
Crvtec I just made a set for mine, it's easy. Pull the grommets from the door and body, use a 3/4" hole punch on the grommets, get some 5/8" split loom, put it through the holes in the grommets and use some RTV or Urathane on the back side to hold the split loom on the grommet, Let dry.
You can also buy wire door looms to install in the jams - they are s/s braided and slide in and out through the bushing installed in the door - street rods use them all the time
rollin to a show today!
Looks so sexy, but we need some bigger pics!
more photos of the convoy!

custom console im building, i also rebody worked the dash and re painted it will post more pics by monday!
a little more work!, gotta wire everything up now
went for a drive
You gave them a, O-My-God bar,,,,now you should stick a brake pedal in there for the passenger. This way they don't feel like they got ripped off when you take them for a drive. Kind of like putting sights on a shot gun. It's there to make you feel better. :)
Any updates? Oh FYI your truck is now the icon for the Low To The Ground group. You can join it through your profile page.
Well I guess I kinda lied on the previous statement, It did get shot for a feature in mt mag at the end of August!
it hasnt came out in Minitruckin Mag yet but here is some photos from the shoot

Sweet, I can't weight to see the full work up on it. My only question is, how does the baby on the blanket get worked into this?
Is it going to be a guessing game. Whats cleaner, the baby or the truck? :)
any ideas when itll be in MT?
Does that first page say March 2013? It's not on there site yet. You might have an advanced copy they sent you.
this is one bad ass build! truck looks amazing.. and im diggin long bed. its like a long mini truck! great work. ohh and the pic w/ da baby asleep in front of the baby blue truck...priceless.
Sweet I'll def have to grab this month's copy!
thanks guys!
So how did they here about your truck, and how did they get in contact with you?
I got my copy yesterday. That is one badass truck.
Its up on Zinio now - have to read it yet. Congrats on making the mag - now to get our forum in with a meet somewhere central US this summer...
We new have a place for this kind of thing now.
http://www.mightyram50.net/vbulletin...mp-Local-Meets
It just needs to have the states put into the forum. I used the FTC web site to build the areas. Feel free to start using it.
Yup, got it!
that is a great idea and my birthday's the 14th of June - got to find out more about the Slamboree...
I followed this Build up to the Engine Compartment Paint on the last forum,
lost all info, Picked up the New Mini Truckin (2 copys, since 2 macrocab features in it) an Fell in Love wit Maxine now my
only Question is....in the mag it says u had a Back Seat. How did you go about
doing that? i have a macrocab myself and i am looking at Ideas for it as well..
sweeet any pics?
Two really sweet looking rides !! mine will never look that good because i love to go play in the mud too much:devil:
Mag not on sale here for another few weeks. Grats on all your hard work paying off and getting a feature in a major mag.
awesome i appreciate it. its so hard to find mighty max builds, especially macro cabs . so its always intresting. i just found an
Bodied Macro cab at my local junkyard. sad =(
Can't you save it, or won't they sell it whole? If you were looking to do that and it isn't hacked up to oblivion, it could be worth buying it.
no its junky after the second look, Cab is Trashed. frame, eeehhh would have to do a complete New Back Half.
The factory 5 spd from my 2.0 will it bolt right up to a 4g63t?
from the sticky i see that it should, i have found a whole 95 parts car for 1500. someone mention the length of time it took for the swap and some odd and ends i need to know. Really seriously debating it as of right now i have a yard ornament. My 2.0 barley pulls onto the trailer LOL
Yes the 2.0 5 speed bolts up to the 4g63t. You want a 90-92.5 6 bolt motor though.
How did you go about finding yours?
Finding what, the tranny or engine?
decided im going to go a different route the a 4g63t, will be getting started in a few weeks! stay tuned!
Can't wait to see what you go with, keep us updated!
Hats off man, that is a nice truck. I like the paint, box detail and all. Nice work!
