Nothing like cold air! Another thing on my to do list is the A/C (once I can get my Gen 1 rolling under it's own power...) The split bench seat in the Strada Cyclone is cool but I'd rather have sports seats (...and another thing on my to-do list )
neat rear window visor. i was just thinking about something similar the other day
Yes , thanks . Hopefully keep me from having to replace the moldings so soon .
Next is AC and new carpet .
I really want that cage bar that goes behind the rear slide window.
Geezer101
This is a really simple piece that could be knocked up by any competent metal fab shop. And, really this shouldn't cost much to make either. I am considering having a roll bar/tie down bar made up for my truck - partially due to the damage I have seen the cabs take in a roll over. I might get a used one and have it cut down and modified to fit the truck unless it proves to be about the same to have one made up (there's a tow hitch and roll bar fabrication business not far from where I live) There was a home made thing on my truck that used security screen mesh across it (good for preventing anything in the tray from coming through and busting the rear glass) but it was super fugly and appeared to be made from an old iron single bed frame. Just nasty...
Nice truck, nice aftermarket stuff too!!!! :)
Thank you .^ bradmph .
Was thinking about buying these side steps/ running boards .???
Let me know what you all think ?? Are they rare ?? I mean do they sell them for these trucks still ??
They are probably an aftermarket/custom item. I haven't personally seen side steps on a 4X4 MM (well, Triton here in OZ...) not saying that it wasn't an option, just haven't seen it myself. The passenger side step has taken a beating but nothing a couple of blocks of wood and a few hits with the BFH2000 won't straighten out. Worth getting them if you can wrangle a deal with the owner. It also looks like they've fitted semaphore marker lights to the cab pillars.
OMG those wheels look tiny on that MM! :lmao:
I'm going to pass on them he wants 100.00 for them .not a bad price just haven't seen any plus I'm still looking for a set of oem center caps.
Here is my center console updated . .
A simple touch but a great investment. Looks nice and clean too. Your truck is coming together nicely maxdsm.
Got carpet in from acc / eBay .
Black .
And some new center caps .
g63b motor .web carb.
Side markers .ef8
New stuff.
Those are some big lowering blocks. Bump stops are not an option! Did you get your carpet in? And if so, how did it turn out?
Yes, carpet is in and turned out great. Took a long time cutting the bench seat holes for it and getting it to sit flush Though..overall happy with the quality and thickness of the carpet.
New wheels and Adapters.
16'' Nissan.
5 dolla can of rusto to the bumper and moldings helps alot.
Is that how your hub adapters are mounted? They really need to be sitting flush with the face of the brakes to take the stress off the bolts. Amazing what a shot of paint can do :)
No was test fitting the adapters, looks like I need a spacer to fit over the hub center. Will be installing the wheels next week. Can't wait
Pictures will be up soon.
Getting wheels installed this weekend can't wait. Haha.
Will be selling my oem wheels if anyone is interested pm me.
They are 14 " bullet hole style wheels. Black with chrome lip.
upper 90° day. Finished and installed adapters .new wheels and tires.
4" drop today. Sits perfect
.:))
Mighty max
looking good. does that momo quick release have a horn button? and how does it stick out compared to stock?
Yes, it does. I have a mitsu eclipse steering wheel on it now. It's difficult to get the right measurements in hub adapters so it doesn't stick out to far and block your wiper controls. I think a short hub and quick release is the way to go.
The new wheels modernise the look of your truck without being out of place. The drop is good too (hard to believe it's 4" lower now) Nice work!
xmas:ebay: ....
new wheel
ordered a 1'' spacer and 1/2'' spacer . see what works .
.................................................. .will post pics when installed....................

Most excellent. LHD truck engine bays look less cluttered than RHD. You gotta do something with the small details - the distributor looks like a coffee stain on the side of your fresh engine and the fan shroud could do with a hit of paint. Other than that, nice
...and, how is it running?
Runs ok . Honestly, I'm going to buy a refurb distrb.I would live to find a brand new one .. And the bay needs cleaned . I'm having a tough time with it starting and I'm not sure if it's a fuel pressure issue《mechanical fuel pump》 or because that is the original distb.lol. I cant believe it's still works . This truck had 280k before I decided to rebuild it.paid 700 bucks for it .originally.
