Stock parts should be fine; axle limit straps are used during extreme suspension travel situations... Raised trucks might need limit straps too...
If available, gas filled shocks, monotube type are better than stock...
KYB was the only brand I could find that made gas monotube in proper spec for a stock truck...
KYB shocks are metal stamped "Made in Japan" same place where the truck was made..!
