Found 2014 post about 1st to 2nd gen front brake conversion

I need help to understand exactly what Geezer101 means by "Entire steering hub and rotor assembly". I think he means to get the spindle and the rotor and the caliper.
BTW I want to change them not because they are weak but because they are the old design with the springy wires & cotter keys holding it together. They are a real pain to deal with. As I understand it the 2nd gens are modern drop in brake pads no wires or springs etc.
I rebuilt them new when I did the entire front end. I heard about this change after I had already put in the new 1st gen parts so I figured I would do it when the brake pads wore out then sell the newish 1st gen parts to a restorer. They have started to squeal once in a while so that warning tab is rubbing the rotor.
EDIT- I found these part numbers for the steering knuckle and hub on an 87-96 mm. I think the knuckle number is RH I can get calipers and rotors on RA but these two are like hens teeth and might be spendy. I may have to suck it up and go with changing the pads and relearning how to deal with the springy wires and cotter keys. The Mitsubishi Direct Parts site indicates the hubs go back to 84 so I may be OK reusing what I have there.
