Which 4x4 would you chose

I'm presently looking at a few MM 4x4's to purchase, ones a '88 with the 2.6, 5 speed and a '92 with the 3.0, 5 speed. Both are optioned about the same, both similar condition and believe it or not both have mileages just above 100,000. Which one would you chose, I'm sure they each have there +'s and -'s. And before you ask, there both the same price.

V6 All day. I have 2 myself. Better trans, axles, and motor.

Parts are a lot easier to come by for the second gen. For that reason alone I'd go with the '91. I have an 85 2.6 and while i love it, i sometimes wish it was easier to find stuff for.
