Windshield Wiper blades

I need windshield wipers on my 82 Ram 50. I'm looking at the wiper arms and they just look like straight sticks. How do windshield wipers mount to this system? Pictures are super appreciated.

That's called a "bayonet" wiper arm; the wiper blade attachment widget just slides onto the end of the arm. Not all blades may have this option, so check the package.

Also, apparently Volvo 240 wiper arms will swap right over and have the more common and secure J-hook attachment type:

Have also seen mention that Gen1 Toyota Tacoma arms will swap over.
