New MM owner in Hilton Head SC

Hi everybody. Jus picked my first Mighty Max out of a barn. Cleaned it up, checked/refreshed fluids, put 4 new tires on it, and a used battery. Runs and drives great! Need to troubleshoot transmission linkage as to why no high gear or overdrive, suspect adjustment needed. Other than that, all I have invested (including tires) is $1000!

Hi and welcome to mightyram. Nice catch! Your trans OD issue may be a bad temperature sensor on the engine. It's a safety feature to protect the trans from going into OD before it's warmed up enough. You can bypass it to test the theory out, but don't hard wire the bypass as it's not good for the trans.
