I can't believe it. It has to be within three feet of me somewhere. Does anyone know the banjo bolt size for the bolt that goes into the front brake line that joins the connector block to the master cylinder? please. Other than being a banjo bolt, is there anything else special about it? Can I find one that works at a hardware store?
I remember taking it out and thinking, this is a very special bolt, don't lose it...

It's staring at you from somewhere taunting you. Go order a pizza and watch the game and forget about the bolt - you'll remember where you put it. I doubt you'll be picking up a replacement bolt from a hardware store. This is an item that won't be carried by the stealerships and will probably be NLA as a genuine spare over the counter. Best bet is to hit the JY's and scrounge one from a wreck. If there's a local brake specialist they 'might' have one lying around.
not that hard to find geezer. It will be metric. m10 (not 100% on the thread pitch) length 25mm (im pretty sure).
worst case take the block and master cylinder to a (good) brake shop - one that supplies parts and does rebuilds.
part number is mb044861.
Not sure what truck this is off of, but Metric and likely M10. Probably pull one off of a Mitsubishi truck or Montero in the junk yard.

Haha, Dorman to the rescue! I think. After I replaced the vacuum booster and leaky master brake cylinder, and was bleeding the back brakes, I noticed the rear brake proportion valve assembly was a rusted cluster. I ordered a new proportion valve but the brake line connections are not M10. Working on finding adapters. Thanks for the part number info!
which connectors are you missing now? i have a bunch in my shed i can measure if i can get to them....
Seems like your brake system needs going through. Double check your soft rubber lines as well. We get a lot of guys buying our PTFE braided stainless steels lines as the old ones are cracking and failing.
