Spark Plugs
I haven’t had much experience with foreign motor. Have always used autolite spark plugs. I don’t think the engine in this truck likes them very much. I had my truck in the driveway idling on the telephone, all the sudden the truck develops a dead miss like one cylinder was not firing. I pulled the plugs out this morning nothing really looked out of the ordinary ( a little carbon on the plugs nothing appeared to be blocking the spark ) cleaned plugs reinstalled running like a top??? I have installed a accel coil a month or so ago. Thanks for the input

Stick to NGK's. It is weird how some engines prefer a particular plug. Fords run autolites without grief. The Accel coil might be a little on the high side of recommended resistance. I've heard of guys having issues using them (burning out rotor buttons, distributor caps etc) The stock 'solid state' transformer coils work very well compared to the oil filled cans and are relatively cheap to buy.
