'86 Dodge Ram 50 says hi
Hi all,
Just purchased a 1986 Dodge Ram 50. 65,000 miles. Her name is Rona.

She sat for about 2 years and wasn't running. Once I was able to clear the fuel lines, replace the filter and pump and give her a general tuneup she's running fine. Still adjusting the carb (anyone having power valve issues, it just won't stay where I put it?) but I can't complain much.
put some new stripes on her and cleaned her really well. There is a little bit of rust in the bed from all the junk the last owner let sit in there but she's mostly rust free and looks good under the hood too.

Hi and welcome to mightyram. Goes to show there are still decent Gen 1 trucks around the place. I think you were very lucky this truck wasn't sitting for much longer than when you found it. It appears to be in really good shape. The carb is probably due for a complete overhaul just from age (all of the seals and diaphragms will be going hard) It's a nice find!
