Potential Mighty Max owner

Good Evening all,

I'm currently in Japan, but I'll be returning to San Diego in roughly a month. I'm wanting a small truck to daily drive and haul stuff or whatever. My other car, 3000gt VR4 seriously gets like 15 mpg. Premium only. I like the idea of keeping it all Mitsubishi, and I'm seeing a couple of Mighty Maxes for sale, but some of them require work. I have some mechanical skill and tools, but no experience on the Mighty Max specifically. Are there any other Mighty Max owners in San Diego who would possibly be willing to help me out with some maintenance? Possibly an engine rebuild?
