Weber WK 614 conversion carb question

I bought a Weber WK 614 conversion carburetor, specifying it was for the 2.6 liter 1980 engine with the 5-speed trans.

Looking at the instruction sheet it says "for automatic transmission"

Read that for the automatic the linkage from the original carb has to be transferred.

Does that mean I can use the WK 614 kit as is on the 1980 2.6 with the manual transmission with the linkage on it?

Yes - the auto kit comes with an extra kickdown lever - just don't use it. If it is the one without the kickdown lever, then use as is.
