Seller says he thinks it's for a 4G52 but isn't sure. Is it just me or does it look like the footprint is all wrong and it's too short, like it's for a 3 cylinder generator or something?

Definitely not a 4G52. It looks like it's off something like an early Mirage or Lancer...
Would make for a nice piece of wall art then.

That's what I thought too. It's definitely off a belt driven engine and the only thing I could think of with a cover that small were the 2 Mitsubishis I mentioned in my earlier post.Quote:

When did they stop using Cyclone branding? They used that on engines that didn't even have Cyclone technology.
I think they used the Cyclone labelling on engines with jet valves as well. I did a google image search and this valve cover looks to be from a 4G13/15. Those engines look tiny compared to their big bro 4G5/4G6's.
