I'm driving a stock 89 Ram 50 base on 195/75r14. What is the largest tire size I can have on it without issues. I was told by one master mechanic that 225/70r14 were okay, and another told me I could only do 205/70r14.

If I am not mistaken 235/70/R14 is the largest you can put on the stock rims with out any rubbing.
The truck I posted pics of a couple weeks ago has 235/75/15's and they fit just fine.
I had rubbing problems with the stock 195/75-14
I ran a 235/60/14 on the back of my truck for 5 years, fronts were a 205/70/14
