Has anyone used any aftermarket injection systems for the d50?

I did a bunch of searching amd found nothing, so I found a company that makes a 2bbl throttle body injection that has all the sensors mounted into the TBI unit except for CTS and WBO2, but they provide everything.

Im going tomorrow to a local machine shop that does one off and small project works to get an adaptor built to go from intake to a 2300 flange. I have striped the intake and underwood of most of the emissions junk and test fit the TBI unit. It looks good, but I will have to find a way to adapt the throttle cable to the TBI.

CTS & WB02 ??

Will the stock fuel pump have enough pressure to operate TBI..? A recent post about throttle cable length involved bicycle brake cable 'n supposedly worked good...
Good Luck

I think: CTS = coolant temp sensor WB02 = wideband oxygen sens

aren't those things like $1000 ? and that's with no ignition control. So not popular. A thread or two on here tho
multiport injection from the mitsu 2.4 truck should bolt on that 2.0 motor. Runs great normally
You'd need everything from donor. Seen such grabbed for next to nothing, even on this forum

The kit I bought was $604 shipped to my door from Aces called a "Dueces wild"

CTS Coolant Temp Sensor
WBo2 Wide Band 02

The machine shop has the TBI and my factory intake manifold building an adapter. He said it will take a while because he is working on it in his off time to keep costs low.

The kit comes with sensors, wiring harness, ECM, and a Bluetooth module to monitor and control the system with.

Im still going thru the truck while waiting for the adapter, im removing all emissions and excess wiring. I will post up some pics when the adapter comes back and as I get the install finished.

Also, the factory fuel pump will not put up near enough pressure. These system uses 45 psi. I am working on sourcing an inline fuel pump. They offer on on their website, but it's way too expensive for my taste.

Hello MisterShorty a TBI system should make your truck run pretty smooth compared to the carburetor...
Good Luck & please post photos of finished project...

Very interesting. I'm running a G54b with a Weber but I've got a non- running '91 4G64 that I'd like to swap parts from to modernize and improve performance of the ol' G54b

It's a slow and long term project, but when done it should be ready for years of service. I will certainly pay pics as i get more done. The adapter is still being designed at the machine shop and the drive shaft is not at another shop and I'm going to do away with the center bearing by having a 1 piece shaft built.
