I need help, Im desperate yall! 32/36 weber carb install

So i bought a 32/36 weber dgev carb for MANUAL transmission when i actually have an automatic transmission. I didnt realize this until i tried hooking up my transmission linkage cable to the carb. Is there anyone out there who was able to mcguyver the linkage cable to the carb and get it to work?

If you still have the Mikuni, try swapping the Mikuni and Weber throttle levers (the part to which the accelerator cable attaches). I don't know if it's possible with the DGEV, but it works with the DFEV.

the new throttle position is on the opposite side so theres not enough slack to hook the linkage up to it

EDITED Doh. I just reread the OP. I was thinking throttle cable when I read it the first time.
