Hey everyone,

Thanks for all the help so far and sorry for all the questions. After all the troubles with the factory carb I've just replaced it with a Weber 32/36 - bought the proper kit and made sure its genuine/made in Spain. The 4G63 has never run so well, honestly can't believe the difference in it. I went down the route as other members on here and am using an electric pump putting out 3-4psi as recommended. But despite how well it now goes, its dieseling really really badly - I've been doing some homework and wondering if I need to seafoam the engine in case of carbon build up? Is there anything else I can or should be doing before going down that route?

Any and all help much appreciated, cheers!

Try adjusting the idle speed so it's on the low side - 650-700 rpm or less based on what you and the engine can tolerate. Also check that the primary throttle is closing at idle. If not, add a little more slack in the accelerator cable. If still not closing, you may need to fashion a second coil return spring.
Lastly, check that the idle mixture and timing are to spec.
Which Weber did you install? The DGEV or DFEV?
