Hey everyone I need a new head for my mighty max the head that came off of it was a mechanical jet valve head and I was wanting to swap to a non jet head but not sure if that’s possible wanted to check here and see what my options are can I swap it over to a non jet valve head?

I’ve got a 2.6 head off a mini van that had a pulley on one end it’s been tested by the machine shop it had solid rockers I’ll check but I don’t think it has jet valves.

Swapping a non-jet-valve head for the 2.6L should work fine; that's a popular approach. Such heads may reference engine code 4G54 rather than G54B.

My truck 2.6L 5 speed manual tranny the boss at Clearwater cyl heads hunted down hydraulic lifter valve train set for me tp preclude having to so valve lash adjustments ~ works just great ~ their heads are non jet valve ~ my old head was jet valve type & full of small cracks blow steam and coolant out the tailpipe ~ Clearwater is #1 in my book...
